Ayurveda Medicines for Arthritis

What is Arthritis?

Arthritis is a disease that causes inflammation of the joints and can affect single or multiple joints. There are almost 100 different types of arthritis that can be seen in people. Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis are two of the most common types. Symptoms of arthritis usually develop with time, but may also appear suddenly. It is most often seen in people over 65 years of age, but can also occur in kids, teens, and younger adults. It more commonly occurs in women than in men and in people who are overweight. The main symptoms of arthritis are joint pain, stiffness, and swelling.

How can Ayurveda cure Arthritis?

In Ayurveda, those who practice the "Madhava Nidana" guidelines believe that gut imbalance and inflammatory compounds cause arthritis. It is believed that it occurs due to poor nutrition and lifestyle habits that cause inflammation. It was indicated that it can be successfully treated or managed with Ayurveda medicines without any side effects. There is no possibility of recurrence of the disease if a person follows the Ayurvedic concept of a healthier lifestyle and body cleansing with the help of medicines. Ayurveda provides safe and effective treatment of the disease with the help of turmeric, Boswellia, ginger, Guggulu, Triphala, and Shatavari which also reduce inflammation by inhibiting the release of inflammatory chemicals.
