How can Ayurveda cure pulmonary diseases?
In Ayurveda, Vata controls the respiratory system. The imbalance in the ability to function in any of the three Doshas (Pitta, Kapha or Vata) in the body may lead to the formation and accumulation of toxins (Ama) in the respiratory tract. This toxin then induces an inflammatory response that results in the formation of the mucosa and blockage of the lung tissues. The best Ayurvedic medicine for pulmonary disease is Swarnabhrakasindura. It helps in treating asthma, cough, and trembling of the chest, and is also recommended for the TB patient.
