Ayurveda Medicines for Diminished Appetite

A decreased desire to eat is a symptom that is common to numerous medical and psychological conditions. Almost any illness can lead to a decrease in appetite. When severe, decreased appetite can lead to unwanted weight loss and malnutrition such as from the effects of underlying cancer. Bhaskaralavanachurna: Patients suffering from chronic indigestion can derive great benefit from this medicine.
Dosage: 2g to 3g. To be used with butter milk twice daily after meals.

Vandige: Improves appetite. Regulates bowel condition. Proven remedy for indigestion.
Dosage: One tablet twice a day with water.

Gudapippali: Cures enlargement of liver and spleen, enlargement of the abdomen, chronic fever, dropsy and cough.
Dosage: 10g = 4 doses for elders; 10g = 10 dose for children; One dose twice daily with honey (or) as directed by the physician.

Kravyadarasa: Cures sula pains, flatulence, indigestion, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea caused by indigestion.
Dosage : 1g = 3 doses. One dose after meals twice daily with buttermilk added with rock salt.

Mahakhandadraka Lehya: Can be used safely even by pregnant women. Cures indigestion.
Dosage: 12g. To be used twice daily.

Hingvastaka Churna: Cures indigestion, sula in the abdomen, and enlargement of the liver, spleen, and abdomen.
Dosage: 2g to 3g. To be used with buttermilk and hot water after meals twice daily.

Ajamodarka: Cures flatulence sula and indigestion. Helps to improve appetite.
Dosage: 5ml to 10ml. Twice daily with double quantity of water.

Suryavarthi: A result-oriented product to neutralize liver dysfunctioning.
Dosage: One tablet twice a day at your convenience.

For better results use this ayurvedic medication for a minimum period of 3 months.
